Adam Khalfaoui
About
I am an experienced English teacher who has worked with students from a wide range of cultural and academic backgrounds. With over a decade of international teaching experience across the UK, Hong Kong, Italy, Turkey, and Morocco, I bring a global perspective to every lesson. While working at the British International School of Casablanca, I helped 4 out of 5 language centre students transition successfully into the mainstream school. My students have also achieved strong results in Cambridge English exams and school competitions like spelling bees. I’m passionate about helping learners grow in confidence and fluency through personalised, engaging lessons that are tailored to their specific goals.
Teaching Style
When designing a personalised lesson plan, I always begin with my students’ goals, learning styles, and interests. I incorporate interactive activities, visuals, games, and exam-style tasks to make learning enjoyable and effective — especially for young learners preparing for Cambridge Starters, Movers, and Flyers. I regularly use screen sharing, slides, and digital whiteboards to support vocabulary, grammar, and skills development in real time. For writing and revision, I use tools like Google Docs so students can see feedback instantly and improve collaboratively. I also provide clear notes and key vocabulary during each lesson to support retention, and I offer regular progress updates to keep students and parents informed. Student feedback plays an important role in shaping my lessons and ensuring each learner continues to feel challenged and motivated.
