About

Hi! I’m Raja sankralingam., a dedicated music educator with over 8 years of experience teaching piano and keyboard. I hold a Master’s Degree in Music from Madurai Kamaraj University, completed in 2018, where I focused on classical music theory, performance, and education.

I’ve taught nearly 100 students in private schools and colleges from 2017 to 2021, and currently, I teach online through Spardha School of Music, where I specialize in Trinity and ABRSM exam preparation. My approach combines traditional techniques with modern tools like Logic Pro X, offering students a rich, creative, and structured learning experience.

In my lessons, I incorporate music theory, sight-reading, improvisation, and performance coaching, always tailoring the content to suit each learner’s goals and style. Many of my students have succeeded in graded exams and improved their confidence in live and virtual performances.

Teaching Method

My teaching method is student-centered, results-driven, and designed to be both engaging and effective. I combine traditional and modern techniques to match each student's learning pace and goals. I focus on building:

For beginners, I start with simple finger exercises, rhythm patterns, and basic songs to build comfort and confidence. As students progress, we explore more advanced repertoire, harmonies, and stylistic playing. I also incorporate technology like backing tracks, interactive apps, and custom assignments to make learning more dynamic and fun.

For exam students, I provide structured preparation tailored to Trinity, ABRSM, or Rockschool syllabi—with weekly goals, mock tests, and performance tips.

I adapt my method for each student—whether you're 5 or 55, hobbyist or exam candidate—because everyone learns differently and deserves a unique path to musical success.
