About

Hi, my name is Ana Qiria, and I’m a violinist from Tbilisi, Georgia. I started playing the violin as a child and studied at the Z. Paliashvili Music School for Gifted Children. In 2021, I began my studies at the Tbilisi State Conservatory, and since 2022, I’ve been continuing my musical education at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt (HfMDK).

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to perform in festivals and competitions across Europe, including Germany, Italy, Poland, and Switzerland. I’ve been fortunate to win several international competitions such as “Il Piccolo Violino Magico,” the Kloster Schöntal International Violin Competition, and the “Mozart International Competition.” Some of my favorite experiences include performing at the Warsaw Philharmonic and the National Forum of Music in Wrocław with the Georgian Symphony Orchestra, and playing at the Tsinandali Festival with the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra, conducted by Gianandrea Noseda.

I’ve also performed in charity concerts, chamber music festivals, and collaborated with inspiring musicians like Fazil Say, Avi Avital, and Mihaela Martin. Music has given me the chance to connect with people and cultures all over the world, and I’m excited to now share that experience with my students.

Teaching Style

In my lessons, I focus on building a strong technical foundation while encouraging musical expression from the start. I help students develop healthy posture, clean intonation, and confident bowing through exercises tailored to their level.

I enjoy working on a wide range of repertoire, from classical to contemporary music, depending on each student’s interests and goals. I also emphasize listening, musical phrasing, and how to connect emotionally with the piece.

My teaching style is supportive and flexible. Whether you’re preparing for a performance or playing just for fun, I aim to create an inspiring and motivating space where you can grow as a violinist and enjoy the process.
