About

Hello and welcome! My name is Anastasiya, and I’m a concert pianist, international competition laureate, and dedicated piano teacher with over 17 years of experience in music — and more than 6 years of teaching students of all ages.

I started performing at the age of six and have never stopped since. Music is not just my profession — it’s my lifelong passion. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, and I was recently accepted into the University of Kansas for my graduate studies. Over the years, I’ve won multiple international awards, including:

  • 1st Prize at the Sea Sun Festival in Spain
  • 1st Prize at Astana Piano Style (Kazakhstan)
  • 1st Prize at the Alion Baltic International Music Competition (Estonia)
  • Laureate of the Orbifold International Music Competition
  • Participant in the Open International Piano Competition in China

As a performer, I’ve played in concert halls, weddings, hotels, and private events — creating personalized musical experiences in classical, jazz, neoclassical, pop, and rock styles.

But teaching is something I truly love. I began teaching piano privately while living in China. When I returned to Tashkent, I taught in several music schools, including Flamingo, Cosmo Music Studio, and Scene. Today, I run my own school — Heaven Music School — where I not only teach piano, but also lead a team of talented teachers who offer lessons in guitar, vocals, and drums.

💡 Why learn with me?

I believe learning music should be inspiring, empowering, and joyful. Whether you’re a beginner, a returning adult, or a young aspiring professional — I will guide you step by step, at your own pace, and with full support.

My lessons are:

  • Personalized — based on your goals and musical taste
  • Structured yet creative — balancing technique, theory, and expression
  • Student-centered — I teach with patience, warmth, and positive energy
  • Bilingual — I teach in English or Russian, depending on your preference

Many of my students have won competitions, performed on stage, and most importantly — discovered the deep joy of music.

If you’re looking for a teacher who will not only help you improve your playing, but also inspire you to love music more deeply, I’d be happy to work with you. Let’s make music together!

Teaching Style

My teaching style is both structured and inspiring, combining the best of classical piano traditions with modern, student-centered methods. I believe that every student is unique, so I tailor lessons to each individual’s learning pace, interests, and goals.

I emphasize a strong technical foundation, including proper hand positioning, finger independence, and pedaling techniques, while encouraging musical expression and creativity from the very beginning. My lessons focus on developing not only technical skills but also a deep understanding of musical phrasing, dynamics, and interpretation.

I create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel confident to explore and grow. Whether you are a beginner or preparing for advanced repertoire, I help you build lasting skills and a genuine love for music.

Curriculum

My teaching method combines a solid classical foundation with personalized approaches tailored to each student’s needs and goals. I focus on developing technical skills such as finger independence, hand coordination, and proper use of the pedal, while nurturing musicality and expression. I encourage students to understand the structure and emotion behind each piece, helping them play with confidence and artistry.

I incorporate a variety of exercises, scales, and repertoire to build technique gradually, along with ear training and sight-reading to develop comprehensive musicianship. Regular goal-setting and performance preparation are key parts of my lessons to motivate and track progress.
