Annika Lindner
About
I've been teaching guitar for about 10 years.
Playing guitar has been part of my life since age 10—starting with acoustic, then electric, and eventually adding classical guitar to the mix. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg (Germany), where I developed both my musical and educational foundation. I’ve also spent years playing in a worship band, and got to live in California where I got a diploma in ministry and leadership focused on music in the church.
Teaching Style
My approach is personal, supportive, and fun. I love building genuine connections with students and helping them discover their musical skill. For me, growth happens best when learning is joyful and adapted to the student—not forced into a fixed method. I laugh with my students, I encourage them, I help them, I give homework to improve, I'm patient and most importantly I celebrate their success with my students.
Curriculum
Every lesson is tailored to the student’s interests and goals. Whether it’s classical, jazz, pop, rock, chords, worship, or songwriting, I focus on the styles and skills that matter most to them. I also love teaching practical music theory—always connected to the music the student is playing—so they not only play better but also understand what they’re doing musically. With a flexible, genre-rich approach and a strong technical foundation, I help students progress in ways that feel inspiring and natural.
