I am a guitarist with about 18 years experience, on and off. Let me help you get up and running with your guitar and musical journey!
Teaching Style
I teach primarily with hands-on methods. Lectures are not very important at the start. I also do not teach theory or scales right away. The major thing we start you off with is getting you playing some songs that you enjoy.
Curriculum
A great way to make progress is through master studies, which are studying great players, and music you enjoy. I will teach you some methods for doing so, which will hopefully speed up your learning, possibly faster than other traditional methods.
You do not need any texts to start. You just need a guitar, and optionally an amp/computer interface, if you are playing electric guitar.
