Andrei Panicerschi
About
My name is Andrey P. and I hold a B.A. in Vocal Performance/Opera from Cornish College of Arts in Seattle, WA. As I am a professional opera singer/performer, and I offer private voice lessons.
I provide voice lessons In person and on-line, will travel within reasonable distance.
My primary expertise is in Singing technique and Vocal performance. I can be of help to people performing in many styles and experience, to male and female singers. I can assist with diction in English, Italian, Russian, French and German as well. My voice type is tenor and can be of help to male singers, young tenors in opera and musical theater , to figure out their technique difficulties!
My teaching approach is to first meet to evaluate the student's level of experience, and determine the most important steps to take to help them reach their learning goals. Depending on this meeting and my continued evaluation of their progress, I will help them to focus on the specific skills they may be lacking in. My teaching method will also help people to improve their speaking voice.

Teaching Style
Primarily focused on the technique and voice performance.
I go with what is the current level of the student. Meeting the student where they might be and developing and working to bring the voice to the optimal level possible.
My most part of the lesson is focused on exercises and working on repertoire.
I am flexible addressing the things that student is needing or if they request to work on a certain thing specifically.
i can be of help to a lot of male singers in different genres
Currently teaching at my private audio or online only.
consider traveling if reasonable.
.
Curriculum
The teaching method that I provide is based on on okd italian school called the Mazzini and Barra method.
the method was revolutionary at the time, the singers where making much faster progress in connecting the chest and head voice. An Italian method is focused on open throat vertically which brings students a great access to the optimal voice production.
Any advanced singer might heard about it.
It allows a smooth transition and leads to flowing and free voice as a result.
in my lessons you can expect being primarily focused on exercises rather then repertoire primarily.
As believe this is the essence of the progress.
Mastering correct breathing is the first step that we would start in and then build the rest of the voice.
For advanced students I will make sure that voice as a whole works smoothly.
We will be working on different exercises that would be best for the student at the stage where they are.
Scales and arpeggios, sustained tones, voice projecting.
Working on repertoire would be towards the end of the lesson.
And ultimately we will work on artistry.
