Anna Rotolo

Anna is a pianist based out of Minneapolis. She has been playing classical piano for over 20 years and teaching lessons for 8. She has experience teaching students aged 4-75, and can accomodate a variety of different learning styles. She holds a Bachelors of Arts with Honors in Music from Macalester College. While a student at Macalester, she won the college’s Concerto Competition and performed as the featured soloist with the Macalester Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Anna served as a teaching assistant for Music Theory I and II. She has also developed a passion for electronic music composition, influenced by a wide variety of genres including classical, pop, and jazz. 

Anna brings a unique approach to helping each student accomplish their personal goals, from coaching mature students in technique and expression to nurturing beginning students who simply want to learn how to play the piano. She strives to help all students find a unique and informed sense of creative expression at the instrument. With a focus on technique, music theory, and personal expression, Anna's teaching will give every student the resources they need to suceed.
