Ursula Seymour

Hi, I’m Ursula Seymour—a versatile vocalist, songwriter, and music educator with over 15 years of performing experience and 8 years of teaching voice, piano, and group music. I hold a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Business from NYU Steinhardt, where I trained for four years in classical and contemporary vocal performance. I’ve taught in both private lesson studios and classroom settings, working with students one-on-one and directing full bands and ensembles. My lessons are available online and in person, and I specialize in all contemporary styles—pop, R&B, soul, theatre, and more.

Beyond teaching, I’ve released original music on streaming platforms and have coached many students into lead roles in musical productions like Hairspray, Aladdin Jr., Annie, Frozen Jr., and Something Rotten Jr. I’ve successfully helped students prepare for auditions, recitals, and their first-ever performances—often helping them find the confidence they never knew they had. Whether you’re just starting out, writing original songs, performing at open mics, or pursuing a recording career, I’m here to support your artistic journey with real-world expertise and encouragement.
