About
With over ten years of experience teaching private violin lessons and leading school and youth orchestras, I’m passionate about helping each student grow at their own pace—whether they’re just beginning or preparing for auditions. My lessons blend structure with creativity, building strong technical foundations while keeping the joy of music-making front and center. I tailor each session to the individual, creating a warm, encouraging space where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired. Let’s work together to unlock your musical potential!
Teaching Style
As an experienced violin educator, I provide a structured and nurturing learning environment where students can grow both musically and personally. I use a blended approach that incorporates the Suzuki Method—fostering ear training, memory, and musical expression—alongside the Essential Elements for Strings method books to build strong music reading and technical skills.
Every lesson is tailored to your child’s learning pace, personality, and goals. I believe in positive reinforcement, consistent routines, and clear communication to help students stay motivated and confident.
Equally important to me is your child’s physical well-being. I place a strong emphasis on performing arts health, including body awareness, posture, and injury prevention. By teaching healthy playing habits from the start, I help students develop not just as musicians—but as lifelong, mindful learners.
Parents are always welcome to stay involved, ask questions, and be part of their child’s musical journey. Together, we’ll support your child in building skills, discipline, and a genuine love of music.
