About

Hi, I’m Lori. I’ve been teaching voice for 15+ years and work with singers at every level, from complete beginners to professionals preparing for auditions.

If you’re someone who used to sing and is thinking about coming back to lessons, you’re exactly the kind of student I love working with. Returning to singing can feel vulnerable. Many adults worry they’re rusty or that their voice isn’t what it used to be. I understand that feeling, and my goal is to create a space where you can rebuild your voice with encouragement and zero pressure.

In lessons we focus on practical tools that help your voice improve. Breath, rhythm, tone, flexibility, and confidence. Everything is tailored to your goals and the music you enjoy singing.

I’ve performed across the U.S. and Europe, including singing at the Vatican for Pope Francis, and trained with artists like Kristin Chenoweth and Nathan & Julie Gunn. But what matters most in lessons is helping your voice grow in a way that feels natural and expressive.

When you’re ready, book a trial lesson and let’s bring your voice back. 🎶

Teaching Style

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of studying with renowned artists and teachers, including Cynthia Haymon, Kristin Chenoweth, and Nathan and Julie Gunn. Their influence shaped not only my technique but also my teaching philosophy: every singer’s voice is unique and deserves individualized guidance.

Curriculum

My methodology blends time-tested classical training with practical, modern approaches. My background and performing experience are in Musical Theatre, Choral, Opera, and High-Profile Studio Recording Sessions.

In lessons, we focus on breath support, resonance, diction, and vocal health while adapting to each student’s goals whether that means preparing for auditions, building range and flexibility, singing for wellness, or developing stage presence. I believe in breaking down technical concepts into clear, actionable steps that make singing feel both joyful and sustainable.

I’ve also coached high school singers to award-winning performances, including students who placed first in competitive events like the Texas All-State Choir, even with through online lessons conducted entirely online. This has reinforced my belief that online teaching can be just as effective, if not more so, when tailored with the right methods and support.
