About
Hello! I’m Reyhaneh, a passionate piano teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Music Education from the Royal College of Music in London.
I have taught more than 500 students worldwide, from complete beginners to advanced players preparing for exams and competitions. My teaching style combines structure with creativity—I focus on building a strong foundation in technique, while also encouraging students to develop their own musical voice.
I am experienced with a variety of methods including ABRSM, RCM, and Bastien, and I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, whether it’s learning classical repertoire, preparing for graded exams, or simply playing for joy.
In addition to teaching, I’ve worked in London primary schools as a music educator and served as a guest adjudicator in piano competitions, including the Fortes Piano Competition in Dubai.
My mission is to help every student grow in both confidence and musicianship, while keeping the learning process engaging and enjoyable.
I’d love to guide you on your musical journey—whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your piano playing to the next level!
Teaching Style
My approach to teaching is learner-centered, meaning that lessons are built around each student’s unique needs, goals, and learning pace. I believe that music education is not just about playing the right notes—it’s about developing a strong sense of musical identity.
In our lessons, I encourage students to explore who they are as musicians: what inspires them, what styles they connect with, and how they want to express themselves through music. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all method, I guide students to make personal connections with the repertoire, theory, and technique.
I use a wide range of strategies—creative exercises, improvisation, repertoire exploration, and reflective listening—to make sure that students not only gain technical skills, but also confidence and ownership of their musical journey.
The ultimate goal is for every student to feel that the piano is a natural extension of their voice, and that they are building a lifelong, meaningful relationship with music.
