About
My name is Negar Parsa, a music graduate and piano teacher with over 25 years of experience teaching piano, solfège, and music theory. For me, teaching music is not only about sharing knowledge, but also about inspiring students, bringing joy, and creating a deep connection with art. My teaching method is based on simplifying concepts, step-by-step practice, and paying special attention to the needs and interests of each student. The lessons are conducted in Persian (Farsi) and are suitable for all ages: children and teenagers who are just starting out, as well as adults who wish to reconnect with music.
من نگار پارسا هستم، کارشناس موسیقی و مدرس پیانو با بیش از ۲۵ سال تجربه تدریس در زمینهی پیانو، سلفژ و تئوری موسیقی. آموزش موسیقی برای من فقط انتقال دانش نیست، بلکه ایجاد انگیزه، لذت و ارتباط عمیق باهنراست.
روش تدریس من بر پایهی سادهسازی مفاهیم، تمرینهای مرحلهبهمرحله و توجه ویژه به نیازها و علایق هر هنرجو طراحی شده است.
کلاسها به زبان فارسی برگزار میشوند و مناسب تمام ردههای سنی هستند؛ چه کودکان و نوجوانانی که تازه شروع میکنند، و چه بزرگسالانی که میخواهند دوباره به موسیقی برگردند.
Teaching Style
My piano lessons are always tailored to the student’s level and goals. For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation: note reading, rhythm, and simple pieces to develop confidence.
For intermediate and advanced students, I emphasize piano technique, speed, musical interpretation, and preparation for concerts, competitions, or international exams.
My teaching style combines structured learning with a friendly atmosphere, so students can progress without stress while enjoying music.
The first lesson is free, so we can get to know each other and design a personalized learning plan.
کلاسهای من با توجه به سطح هنرجو (مبتدی، متوسط یا پیشرفته) طراحی میشود.
برای هنرجوهای مبتدی ابتدا با نتخوانی و درک ریتم شروع میکنیم تا پایهی محکمی داشته باشند. سپس به تدریج وارد قطعات سادهی کلاسیک و قطعات محبوب روز میشویم.
برای هنرجوهای متوسط و پیشرفته تمرکز من روی تکنیکهای پیانیستی، افزایش سرعت، موسیقیخوانی پیشرفته و آمادهسازی برای کنسرتها یا آزمونهای بینالمللی است.
روش تدریس من ترکیبی از آموزش جدی و فضای دوستانه است تا هنرجو بدون استرس بتواند پیشرفت کند.
اولین جلسه به صورت مشاوره رایگان خواهد بود تا همدیگر را بهتر بشناسیم و برنامهی آموزشی .شخصیسازی شده را طراحی کنیم.
Curriculum
In my piano lessons, I follow a classical music approach as the foundation, focusing on proper technique, note reading, and musical interpretation.
در کلاسهای پیانو، من از رویکرد موسیقی کلاسیک بهعنوان پایه استفاده میکنم و بر تکنیک صحیح، نتخوانی و درک موسیقایی تمرکز دارم.
I primarily use internationally recognized method books to ensure students build a strong and well-rounded foundation according to global standards.
من از کتابهای آموزشی معتبر جهانی استفاده میکنم تا هنرجویان پایهای قوی و استاندارد داشته باشند.
For Iranian students, I also incorporate other musical styles, including traditional and contemporary pieces, to make learning more engaging while maintaining academic rigor.
برای هنرجویان ایرانی، سبکهای دیگر از جمله قطعات سنتی و معاصر را نیز اضافه میکنم تا یادگیری جذابتر شود و همچنان استانداردهای آموزشی رعایت گردد.

Credentials & Affiliations
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Farhang & Honar University of Isfahan, and have performed in prestigious venues such as Farshchian Hall, Khorshid Conservatory, Hozeh Honari Isfahan, and Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran.
دارای کارشناسی موسیقی از دانشگاه فرهنگ و هنر اصفهان هستم و در سالنهای معتبری چون فرشچیان، هنرسرای خورشید، حوزه هنری اصفهان و مرکز فرهنگی نیاوران تهران اجرا داشتهام.
I have translated three volumes of Michael Aaron’s Advanced Music Theory, five volumes titled “Music Theory in the Microwave”, and a musical storybook for piano named “The Snowman”.
سه جلد از مجموعه تئوری موسیقی مایکل آرون، پنج جلد از مجموعه تئوری موسیقی تحت عنوان تئوری موسیقی در مایکروفر و یک کتاب داستان موزیکال پیانو به نام آدم برفی را ترجمه کردهام.
Additionally, I hold an official teaching certificate from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran.
