Konstantinos Bampaliaris

Hi-ya. I am Costantinos and I hope to be your next music teacher. As a qualified music theory educator with a strong academic background and years of practical teaching experience, I have helped both adults and children master a variety of musical abilities such as as confidently reading scores, understanding harmony , composing and even orchestrating . I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of West London and two advanced diplomas in Harmony and Counterpoint respectively—areas in which I specialize. My teaching experience spans both in-person, teaching music at highly respected schools such as Bishop Ramsey where I also conducted the student orchestra and choir in performances including Howard Shore's "The Lord of the Rings" suite—as well as online teaching, where I have been privileged to lead and guide major student successes such as music college admittances and exam successes.

Beyond the classroom, I have worked professionally as a film composer and performer, having composed and performed the original song for the feature film Onde Há Vida Há Esperança, which I also performed live with orchestra at Teatro Polytheama in Brazil. This practical experience in composition and performance directly informs my teaching approach.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, structured, and highly adaptable to each learner’s individual needs and goals. Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced musician, I tailor every lesson to match your level, learning pace, and musical interests. I place strong emphasis on building a solid theoretical foundation while making each concept practical and relevant—particularly through harmony, counterpoint, and compositional analysis.

 Lessons are designed to be both engaging and goal-oriented. To ensure full understanding and consolidate knowledge of all music theory concepts delivered , I am using a piano in order to show my students the practical and creative aspect of music theory  , with a camera recording from above. 

My goal is not just to teach music theory, but to empower students to think musically and apply their knowledge creatively and confidently.
