Samuele Tacchini

I am an Italian pianist based in Antwerp. I graduated with highest honours from the Conservatory “Agostino Steffani” in Castelfranco Veneto and later completed my studies with distinction at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp under Roberto Giordano and Eliane Rodrigues. My development has been enriched by masterclasses with renowned artists such as Filippo Gamba, Enrico Pace, Pavel Kolesnikov, and Diana Kettler.

I have been awarded prizes at several international competitions, including the Vienna International Piano Competition, the Artepiano Piano Competition in Rome, the San Donà International Piano Competition, and the Gloria Artis Music Competition in Vienna.

My concert activity has taken me to festivals and venues across Italy, France, Belgium, Spain, and Lithuania. Highlights include Opus74 in Flaine, Fundación Eutherpe in León, and the Opera in Canto festival in Terni. I am also active in contemporary and chamber music, collaborating with ensembles, composers, and partners such as soprano Phaedra Pribilla in the Pribilla–Tacchini Duo.

Alongside performing, I am passionate about teaching, having worked in Italy and now offering private lessons in Antwerp.

Over the past years, I have been active in Antwerp’s educational environment, particularly through private piano teaching. Before that, I had the pleasure of teaching in Italy at the “Associazione Musica d’Arte” in Treviso and the “F. Sandi” Music School in Feltre, working with students of different ages and backgrounds. These experiences have strongly shaped my vision of music education.

I was fortunate to study with distinguished pianists such as Eliane Rodrigues, Giovanni Umberto Battel, Roberto Giordano, and Viktor Makarov, each of whom passed on not only pianistic knowledge but also a passion for pedagogy. Their heritage, connected to mentors like Regina Horowitz, Alexis Weissenberg, and Leonid Margarius, has deeply influenced my own flexible and open approach to teaching.
