Teaching Style
Professional composer and licensed music producer with an active commercial music license and state paraprofessional certification. I specialize in teaching film scoring, orchestral mockup techniques, and modern music production. (Logic Pro X, Protools, Musescore, Reaper) My students learn real-world workflows used in today’s film, TV, and game studios: everything from writing memorable themes and creating emotional cues to mixing with samples, recording live players, and delivering stems to picture. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an intermediate producer ready to score your first short film, I’ll help you build a professional portfolio that gets noticed
Curriculum
I teach film scoring and music production the way they actually happen on real jobs — not as separate theory and software classes, but as one integrated, project-driven process.
Every student works to picture from the first month onward. You’ll receive a new scene (or choose your own) every 2–4 weeks, spot it with me like a director would, write and revise cues under deadline, and deliver final stems exactly as a studio expects. This cycle repeats and accelerates until your demo reel sounds indistinguishable from working professionals.
