Bahar Meric

I am a classically trained violinist with a Master’s degree in Violin and Chamber Music from Istanbul University (Turkey), with over 30 years of professional orchestral experience performing with many orchestras in Turkey, including the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra. My career includes concerts, national and international tours, and CD/DVD recordings. In addition to live performance, I currently focus on professional violin recording projects from my home studio, producing high-quality recordings for music and media productions. I also served as a full-time, tenured violin and viola instructor at Edirne State Conservatory for two years, teaching violin, viola, and chamber music, with a teaching approach that emphasizes healthy technique, posture, bow control, intonation, musical expression, and a strong technical foundation tailored to each student’s level and goals.

I offer structured and supportive violin lessons tailored to each student’s level and goals. I focus on healthy technique, musicality, and steady progress in a calm and encouraging learning environment.
