About

Hi, my name is Magda, and I am a freelance violinist, tutor and composer.

Music has been my lifelong journey, and I've had the privilege of performing for audiences all over the world.

I received my classical training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria. In Vienna, I taught violin classes at the renowned elite school Teresianum. With *Netnakisum*, a fusion string quartet, I released several albums and toured internationally. We played at stages like the Cairo Opera House, Cologne Philharmony, Konzerthaus Vienna, Austrian Embassy Washington DC, NYC, and Shanghai, Salle Ibn Seydoun in Algiers and many more.

In various ensembles, bands and orchestras,  I gained diverse experience in classical music,  pop, jazz, crossover, and traditional music from different countries, and began to improvise and compose. My debut composition album "Burnt Jasmine ” for string quintet was released in 2018. In addition to my work as a violinist, I also composed music for plays and radio plays.

I would like to share all this knowledge with you,  and you can be sure that our musical journey will not be boring! :)

Teaching Style

Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, my lessons are tailored to meet your individual needs, focusing on technique, expression, and, most importantly, making sure you enjoy every step of your musical journey. I’m here to help you reach your full potential, no matter your level.

The most important thing for me is that we work on the pieces YOU want to play, that we choose music that you like and that fulfills you and simply brings joy into your life.  Together, we will go through all the technical and musical steps to make exactly this music sound beautiful. Practicing and making music should be your safe, happy place in everyday life! :) Playing a musical instrument is like establishing a deep connection with yourself. And no matter where you are, the most important thing is that you enjoy it and become the best version of your violin- self with every note. :)

Please reach out to me, if you have any questions.

I am looking forward to go on this violin adventure together!
