About
I am a professional cellist with more then 25 years of teaching and performing experience I have though many students of different levels and ages. I have a Bachelor of music from The school of music in Sofia - Bulgaria ( 1994-1998) Studied Cello Performance at Undiana University (1990-1991), Master of music from University of Central Arkansas (1993-1995), Cello Performance at Boston University (1996-1998). I have performed as a soloist of many European orchestras since age on 10. I am a laureate of several competitions: Two International competitions (Usti na Orlitzi in Czech Republic (1994) and Beethoven competition in Memphis TN (1995) and a National competition in Provadia Bulgaria in 1992.
Since 2000 i have been performing through Forida with International string quartet. I also have performed many concerts with different orchestras thought FL and MA. Since 2000 I have been teaching the cello class at Gulliver academy and prep schools in Miami, FL. I also coached cello classes in South Florida youth orchestra and The Greater Miami Youth Orchestra in Miami -FL . Since 2000 I also have in person and on line private cello class. My goal is to have my students enjoy the prosses of learning to play an instrumet.
Teaching Style
I have thought cello lessons in private schools , youth orchestras and organizations and prepared students for orchestral auditions , concerts and colleage orchestras .
Curriculum
Every student will have a personalized lesson plan , depending on their level and goals . I usually use all Suzuki books , Essential elements books . the site -8notes.com for downloading many wonderful easy to learn pieces and songs and their Mp3 files as well . I also use a lot IMSLP.org for all kinds of technical music book such as - etudes , scales etc
Credentials & Affiliations
I have a Bachelor of music performance and a Master of music performance . I am a laureate of several National and International competitions and I have performed at many chamber music concerts solo recitals. I also have performed with many orchestras. I have though cello for private , public schools , privately and worked with cello groups at youth orchestras .
