BERNARDO MOUR
About
Dramatic Tenor | Vocal Coach |
Hi! I’m Bernardo Mour. I am a dramatic tenor and vocal coach with over 15 years of international experience performing and teaching across Mexico and the United States. My musical journey is defined by a unique fusion: I began my journey with a rigorous foundation in Classical Technique, which I now seamlessly blend with contemporary genres like Soul, R&B, Pop, latino and traditional Regional Mexicano.
My Artistic Journey Music has taken me to incredible places. I’ve had the honor of performing as a vocalist at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas and collaborating with Disney in special productions. These experiences taught me the importance of high-level entertainment and vocal precision. One of the proudest moments of my career was in 2007, when my recording work was pre-nominated for a Latin Grammy for "Best Tejano Album."
My Approach as an Educator For me, "Singing is not just an artistic expression; it is a discipline." My teaching philosophy is built on Classical Vocal Technique, providing my students with the power, range, and health needed to excel in any style they choose. I hold a certification in Voice Performance from the California College of Music and have completed specialized coursework at Berklee College of Music.
I am also deeply committed to inclusive education. I have extensive experience giving private lessons to neurodivergent students. I pride myself on being patient and adaptive, creating a safe and supportive space where we can adjust the rhythm and methodology to fit your specific learning style.
What We Can Achieve Together Whether you want to dive into the powerful world of Mariachi and Mexican Folklore, or you prefer to develop your skills in Soul, R&B, Pop, or Jazz, I am here to guide you with a solid technical foundation. My lessons are fully bilingual (English/Spanish) and focused on vocal health, emotional connection, and technical excellence.
I can’t wait to meet you and start working on your voice!
Teaching Style
My teaching style is adaptive, disciplined, and encouraging. I combine the technical rigor of my classical background with the freedom and feel of contemporary genres like Pop, Broadway, Soul, R&B, Latin and Jazz.
