marios anagnostou
About
I am a professional bouzouki instructor with 22 years of playing experience on bouzouki, 16 years on acoustic guitar and 10 years on electric, with 4 years of teaching experience in bouzouki and 2 years in guitar, working with both beginners and advanced students. Ι
My lessons are designed to build strong technical foundations, musical understanding, and confidence, regardless of the student’s starting level.
I teach Greek music styles such as rebetiko, laïko, and traditional repertoire and rock music on guitar focusing on authentic technique, rhythm, and musical expression. At the same time, I help students develop the skills needed to play independently and musically.
For advanced students, lessons focus on refinement of technique, phrasing, repertoire expansion, and stylistic depth. For beginners, I offer a clear and structured approach that avoids confusion and builds progress step-by-step.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, consistency, and respect for the music. I aim to create a supportive but focused learning environment where students can grow with confidence and discipline.
Teaching Style
I adapt my teaching to each student’s level and goals while maintaining a structured and professional approach.
Lessons are organized, focused, and always aimed at measurable progress. I believe that good results come from the balance between proper guidance, disciplined practice, and enjoyment of the instrument.
Curriculum
All lessons are conducted online, ensuring clear instruction and high-quality audio interaction. I provide structured, personalized guidance suitable for both beginners and advanced students in bouzouki and guitar. My teaching focuses on technique, musical understanding, rhythm, and repertoire development, while maintaining a supportive and patient environment.
