About

Hello! My name is Iryna, and I am a professional pianist and piano teacher with over 16 years of musical training.

I received my professional music education at the Maiboroda Music College in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, where I studied piano from 2016 to 2020. I then continued my studies at the Kharkiv I. P. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music as a professional pianist and accompanist from 2020 to 2024.

During my studies, I actively participated in numerous academic concerts and performances at both institutions, performing solo piano repertoire as well as collaborating with vocalists as an accompanist. I also took part in music competitions and was awarded laureate prizes as a piano accompanist.

Since 2022, I have been teaching piano to children, teenagers, and adults at beginner and intermediate levels. I worked as a piano teacher at Honey Music School in Kharkiv (Ukraine) in 2022, where I taught private and small group lessons. After relocating to Warsaw (Poland), I continued teaching independently, offering private piano lessons both in-person and online.

In addition to teaching, I have experience working as a piano accompanist with vocal students during rehearsals and performances. In Warsaw, I have also participated in concerts as an accompanist in support of Ukraine, collaborating with vocalists and performing in live events at Chopin Boutique.

My teaching approach is structured and supportive, and I always adapt my lessons to each student’s goals, level, and learning style. I focus on building a strong technical foundation while also encouraging musical expression and artistic development.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is supportive and flexible. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and pace.

During lessons we work on technique, musical expression, and understanding the music we play. I aim to create a comfortable atmosphere where students can enjoy learning and grow step by step.

Curriculum

My teaching approach combines classical piano technique with musical understanding. Lessons are structured but flexible, depending on the student’s level, age, and goals.

For children, I often include game-based learning. We explore music theory through simple games, creative exercises, and small task cards that make learning more engaging and enjoyable.

I use a variety of classical pieces, technical exercises, and sight-reading practice to help students develop good technique and musical expression. Learning materials and repertoire are always selected according to the student’s level and interests.
