Gavin Ard

Gavin Ard is a freelance trumpet player, teacher, and composer/arranger based in the NYC area. A recent graduate of the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance (SMTD), and holds two Master of Music Degrees; one in trumpet performance and the other in jazz composition/arranging. Gavin has recently performed with ensembles such as New World Symphony, The Orchestra Now, Flint Symphony Orchestra, Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra, and the New Jersey Festival Orchestra. He is also a bandleader, recently releasing a self-produced album of original compositions & arrangements for big band and jazz octet.
