- Yousician — "The Face of Bass", 2017/2018 — the featured bass instructor for Yousician, one of the world's largest music education platforms with over 21 million users worldwide
- Professional Session Musician — bass credits across multiple released albums and recordings in New York City
- Uptown Party Down — founding member of a nine-piece funk-jazz fusion band, performing regularly at Rockwood Music Hall and venues across NYC
- Music Theatre Conservatory — formal vocal training with a focus on technique, performance, and coaching
- Music Producer — fifteen years of focused studio production work; released productions across multiple artists in soul, R&B, and instrumental hip-hop genres
I teach bass guitar, vocals, and music production — online and in-person in the Glen Cove, NY area.
Teaching Style
I teach the way I was taught - directly, honestly, and with musical goals as the vehicle.
That means we're playing actual songs from the first lesson, not just exercises in a vacuum. Theory gets introduced when it solves a problem you're already having, not as abstract homework. I'll tell you the truth about what's working and what needs attention, because polite vagueness wastes your time and money. With that said, musical communication should also be fun and creatively inspiring. I put a lot of energy into cultivating that space.
For bass students, my focus is feel and function, understanding what the bass is actually doing in a band context, not just hitting the right notes. For vocal students, I prioritize technique that holds up under pressure, built on breath and placement. For production students, the goal is finishing music — developing workflow habits that get ideas out of your head and into completed tracks.
I work well with beginners who want a real foundation, intermediates who've plateaued and need to know why, and advanced students who want a second set of professional ears. Lessons are online via video or in-person depending on location.
