I have been a private music teacher for over 10 years now, and have enjoyed it immensely! For 5 of those 10 years I worked at a music conservatory in New Jersey helping students to prepare for auditions, competitions, and exams.

I have been performing and teaching music for many years in a variety of situations and trained at the Royal Academy of Music (London) and King's College. As a wind player (Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute and Recorder) I perform regularly in orchestras as a soloist and orchestral player and my piano skills are used as an accompanist.

I am a classically trained musician, beginning my studies at Chetham's School of Music, Manchester, before being awarded scholarships to some of the UK's leading music conservatoires.

Bruce has been teaching music lessons for almost 30 years. After graduating with a performance degree in Jazz Studies from the Hartt School of Music, Bruce decided to become part of the Waldorf school movement where he worked as a full time elementary classroom teacher for five years and then for eleven years as a music teacher.

I won a scholarship to study flute and piano at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK on the Performer’s Course with Colin Lilley of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

Hungarian born recorder player Akos Szilagyi started his musical education at the age of six. First he studied piano and recorder, later oboe. After he graduated from Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, he worked as a recorder and ear-training teacher, later as a chair of the Recorder Department of Leo Weiner Elementary School of Music and Music High School in Budapest.
