I have most recently completed my Master of Arts in Voice from the Royal Academy of Music where I also received a Licentiate of Pedagogy in Singing. I have a wide background of performing opera, classical, folk, jazz, and musical theatre having been in fully staged and orchestral backed productions.

Music has been a part of my life from the very beginning — I was born into a family of teachers, composers, and musicians, and began my musical journey at the age of four. With over 18 years of professional experience, I graduated from music school, college, and a pedagogical university with degrees in vocal performance and piano.

Hello there, musical friends! I’m Hila. I have been a performing musician (singer and songwriter) since I was 15, recording and touring my own songs - as well as jazz standards.

I began my music teaching journey back in 2012 after attending the University of Colorado Denver. I was pursuing a music degree and at the time I believed touring would be my main source of income. After I had my first guitar student my life path suddenly changed and I realized my passion for teaching.

Laura grew up with a great love for music and finds joy in sharing and cultivating that passion in others. She has degrees from Brevard College (BM) and the University of Colorado, Boulder (MM) along with the Certificate of Vocology at the National Center for Voice and Speech in Salt Lake City.

I started my career studying musical theatre at the Franz Liszt music conservatory before continuing my education at the Guitar Institute in London and at the London College of Music. In addition to my formal education, I have had many years of private tuition with Roger Kain (voice), Jack Abrahams (voice) and Shaun Baxter (guitar).
