Education and Background Ashley Serrano is a passionate guitarist and music educator based in the vibrant Silicon Valley Area. Born in Modesto, California, she taught herself electric guitar at age 14, drawing inspiration from legendary guitarists including Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Prince, Steve Vai, and John Petrucci.

I began playing the guitar at age 11. I come from a classic rock/punk/metal/hardcore background and ventured into various sub-genres catered to these styles throughout my High School years when I started writing and recording my own music while playing in various bands throughout the tri-state area.

British/American. Growing up with an American Dad from Hollywood, started my love for cinema. Growing up in England also opened my eyes to foreign films too, styles of acting and styles of film making and watching directors styles closely. My first job was in a video store. Submerged in films, I decided I wanted to be an actor.

I studied classical piano at the conservatory of Мünster and have achieved the following degrees: Bachelors, Masters and an Advanced Soloists Degree (Concert Examination). I am also an experienced and active piano teacher - I have been teaching pupils of most age groups (from 8 up to seniors) since 2009.

Melissa has a passion for teaching grounded in science and healthy use of the voice. Her lessons are specifically tailored to meet each individual's needs and goals through functional exercises.

I'm an enthusiastic, passionate teacher who appreciates the uniqueness and originality of any interested student. I've been teaching private lessons and running clinics for fifteen years, teaching a multitude of genres. I make it a priority to cater lessons to the interests of each individual student. I work with students ages seven to adult.
