Hi! I’m Sophie Laffey, a UK-qualified educator with over 10 years of experience working with children aged 5 to 10 across both mainstream and alternative learning environments. I hold a BA (Hons) in Learning and Teaching from the University of Northampton (2016–2017), and a Foundation Degree in Learning and Teaching (2014–2016).

I am a professional touring and recording drummer and educator with over 20 years of experience performing, recording, and teaching. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with an Associate degree in Percussion and Contemporary Music.

I am currently a theatre and movement teacher at a public school in Manhattan in District 75. I work with students with special needs at the middle and high school level. I began my career as a classroom teacher in District 75 and moved into this position for the last couple of years.

As a vocal coach, I base my teaching on voice science, ensuring that my students develop a healthy and sustainable vocal technique. I hold an Estill Voice Training Level 1 & 2 certificate and continuously refine my skills through advanced training, including courses in extreme vocals.

I've been playing the guitar for over 40 years and have experience in teaching school age students as well as adults. In addition to this I play and teach Native American Style Flute and Didgeridoo. I also have experience working with those with special needs. Over time I have learned various styles and techniques for guitar, it is my main instrument.

Amanda Dame is a flutist, educator and entrepreneur known for her diverse repertoire and thematic programming. Over the past year, she has presented solo recitals at notable venues including Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy, NY, the Arts Club of Washington in DC, and The Mainstay in Rock Hall, MD.

Shawn LeSure, a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory, has been playing the violin since the age of ten. Hecomes from a musical family; his older brother, a cellist, is a Juilliard graduate.
