Hello! I am a professional piano teacher with more than 15 years of experience. I graduated from the Conservatory of Parma (Italy), where I earned both a Master in Piano Performance (2016) and a Master in Chamber Music (2019).

I hold a BA in music and a MMEd (master’s degree in music education). I have toured the US with various bands and ensembles including an indie-rock quintet, a 10-piece chamber rock ensemble, a big band orchestra and as a solo musician. I compose and perform my own music and just released my second album of original music.

I am a classical piano and music theory teacher with over 35 years of experience, working with adult beginners (18+), advanced students, and university-level musicians. I help students build a solid classical foundation, develop real musical understanding, and gain confidence in piano playing, harmony, ear training, and musical thinking.

I am a concert pianist with a 10-year teaching experience both privately and at music Universities, including the Lucerne Music University (HSLU-Musik, Switzerland), and University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Austria. Hello! I have been playing piano with my family from the age of 6, pursuing professional piano lessons around the age of 12. After attending college, where I received a BS degree in Music, as well as 5 years' experience accompanying choirs, ensembles, and bands, I began teaching in my own studio and have done so for 9 years.

I have been teaching classical piano for thirty years. I believe in solid foundations. Playing with a free arm and wrist and touching the keys in right way are all essential for expressive playing and mastery. For this there are exercises, which include scales and arpeggios.
