I have a degree in Jazz from L'Aula at Berklee College of Music and a certificate in Music from the Gregorian Institute in Lisbon. My teaching focuses on developing a solid foundation in technique, music theory, sight-reading, and improvisation, while encouraging creativity and musical expression. I tailor each lesson to the student's goals and learning style.

Claire Chan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Honors) from Hong Kong Baptist University and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from California State University, Northridge. She has studied with esteemed pianists Dr. Cherry Tsang, Dr. Dmitry Rachmanov, and Jason Stoll.

I started playing trumpet and piano in Kindergarten, I have played trumpet for over 46 years and have been in various groups in Elem, Jr. High and HS. I played trumpet from when I was a Kindergartener. I was self taught. I was first chair, in Amarillo High School band, and did solo and ensemble competitions earning a one in rating many times.

I am an experienced educator and music director with over a decade of teaching and leadership experience in both academic and performance settings. I have taught Music, English, and Values Education at the middle and high school levels and have extensive experience training children, teens, and college students in choir and instrumental performance.

Ryan Hernandez began his musical training in Huntington Beach, California, guided by esteemed blues musician Walter Trout. Upon moving to New Jersey in 2010, Ryan was gradually exposed to the Tri-state jazz scene, becoming enamored with it. This passion led him to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center's jazz program and the New Jersey Youth Jazz Orchestra.

I am a musician and music teacher with more than 20 years of experience. As my parents worked in the music industry I grew up around music and showed interest in it at a very young age. I studied piano and cello at the historic Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona. After completing my piano diploma I took interest in modern music and I studied harmony and arrangements in jazz.
