I began my music teaching journey back in 2012 after attending the University of Colorado Denver. I was pursuing a music degree and at the time I believed touring would be my main source of income. After I had my first guitar student my life path suddenly changed and I realized my passion for teaching.

I am a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer with over 15 years of teaching experience in music schools, high schools, and private instruction. Educated at London’s Trinity College of Music, I hold ABRSM Grade 8 certifications in singing, violin, and music theory, alongside advanced studies in piano and guitar.

I cut my teeth drumming in speed-punk bands, acting/singing in a traveling theatre troupe, and eventually fronting an alt-rock band, for over a decade. I’ve worked on a number of albums for independent artists as a session musician, co-writer, producer, engineer, or mixer; often all of the above. As an enthusiastic music nerd, I've found every angle I can to be immersed in this field! I balance life as a vocal instructor, session vocalist and performer. Over the last 15yrs I have been very fortunate to receive a college diploma in Jazz Vocal Performance, perform internationally as a session vocalist, write and tour my own material, and win some awards along the way.
