Prior to joining the Baltimore Symphony, Maria was a tenured member of the Louisville Orchestra violin section from 2014-2022. She played in the first violins for 5 years and then was 3rd chair in the second violins.

Born and raised in Houston, TX, Mr. Galbraith began playing violin at the age of four. He switched to viola during the summer of 1995, before his eighth grade year. After switching, he earned principle viola in his local region orchestra. He went on to attend the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, specializing in viola performance and graduating in 2000.

My name is Wes and I have been playing the violin and viola for 15 years. I have played in countless string quartets and quintets, recitals, and concerts! I teach anyone who wants to learn these instruments from a beginner level to intermediate.

I have trained classically under world-renowned teachers throughout the United States and Europe, and my passions have also brought me to jazz, pop, hip hop, and folk music, as well as improvisation in all of these styles.

I began playing the violin at age 7 and I have enjoyed every moment since! I switched to the viola at age 19 and pursued both a bachelor's and master's degree in performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the New England Conservatory of Music. I'm currently a member of the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra in Seattle, WA, and a regular sub with the Seattle Symphony. I received my degrees in viola performance and music history from the New England Conservatory and a masters degree from the Eastman School of Music.

Dario Giuliano, born in 1994 in Palermo, Italy, grew up in a family of musicians. He began his studies as a violinist and then continued in the viola class of Maestro Renato D'Anna at the Scarlatti Conservatory in Palermo, graduating with highest honors.

Amanda Steinemann (BMus in Composition, UVic) loves sharing her knowledge of music with students of all ages and skill levels. She has been teaching violin, viola, and piano lessons through local music schools and privately both in person and online, and enjoys incorporating composition and music theory elements into the lessons.
