Danielle Hurtig, Soprano, Violinist, and Violist is a Suburban-Chicago native who has lived and breathed the musical arts for 25 years! Danielle holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, having studied under the tutelage of Soprano Dawn Harris.

I want to share my passion for music and singing with you. Music teachers have literally changed my life. I know what an encouraging, kind cheerleader — who also gently pushes you to step a foot outside your comfort zone — can do for your confidence and ability to achieve your goals.

Marla Volovna was born in New York of Russian parents. She earned her Bachelor of Voice degree from the New England Conservatory, Boston. She also earned a MFA in Opera direction from Indiana University Bloomington. Ms Volovna won a scholarship to study in Salzberg, Austria under the tutelage of Susan Anders at the Mozarteum where she earned an equivalent MM in Voice.

All ages are welcome. I am a highly experienced musician and educator with a B.M dual degree in Jazz Composition and Performance from Berklee College of Music, as well as a Master of Music Theory and Composition Degree in Scoring for Film and Multimedia from New York University.I've been teaching private lessons for more than 15 years.

As a vocal coach, I base my teaching on voice science, ensuring that my students develop a healthy and sustainable vocal technique. I hold an Estill Voice Training Level 1 & 2 certificate and continuously refine my skills through advanced training, including courses in extreme vocals.

I grew up in a musical home. Hammond B3 Organ in the den, acoustic/ electric guitars in different rooms, electric drum pads and amps for days. My father is a professional singer and hobbyist as a musician. He has always encouraged me to take music as far as I can. Although I dabbled in every instrument at home, I fell in love with the sax and started plying in middle school.
