As a certified music educator with 17 years of teaching experience, I have developed effective strategies and tools to coach students with a wide variety of learning styles and interests to become successful musicians.

Sonnie graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor degree of Music, specializing in music education, music therapy and singing. She received this degree with distinction and academic honors in 2015. In the same year she started her Master’s of Musicology degree and received a bursary to study music education in Finland for six months.

I hold a Master's in Voice Performance degree from University of New Orleans and Bachelor of Science degree in Voice Performance from State Music Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2001, I toured with International European Opera Company which performed numerous times in Denmark, France, Italy and USA.

Hi there! I'm Jennifer and I have lived and breathed music all my life. I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6 and enrolled in the Royal Conservatory of Music where I eventually graduated and obtained my ARCT (Associate of the Royal Conservatory) diploma in Piano Performance with Honors and Advanced Theory Certificate.

6x Teacher of the Year 2020 through 2025 for Voice, Pop Voice, Voice Artistry, and Artist Development. I have been teaching for six years and have taught over 4,200 lessons on Lessonface. Across online and in person instruction in voice and piano, I have taught more than 10,000 lessons.

I believe that every individual learns music skills differently. As a teacher I seek to design lessons that provide each student with the opportunities to grow in a creative and enjoyable way.
