For over 35 years, Bobbie Pell has shared her love of story with audiences of all ages through written works, storytelling performances, and workshops. Her specialty area, Celtic folklore and traditions, focuses on faerie lore, ballads, and archetypical myths. Her first book, THE HIGHLAND HEART, explores themes of true love, faerie encounters, and a hero's journey to wholeness.

Bowen is a storyteller, educator and environmentalist who believes stories can be transformative. Whenever possible, she merges these passions together, bringing in her training as an illustrator and as a traditional Chinese medicine health provider to the mix. The fusion of all these talents provides a deep and memorable learning experience.

Ira S. Murfin is a writer, educator, scholar, critic, and artist based in Chicago. He holds both an MFA degree in Writing and a PhD in the study of theatre and performance. His past published and produced work includes playwriting, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, criticism, and scholarship.
