I've been performing and teaching guitar, banjo, and mandolin in the DC area and online since 2012. I play guitar and Banjo with the bluegrass band Cherry Blossom Special. In my own playing I've mostly pursued Bluegrass, classical and jazz but I love helping students reach their own goals regardless of style.

Calvin has been based in Madrid, Spain and working as a professional guitarist for more than 25 years. He has performed at some of the most prestigious theatres in the U.S.

-Fingerstyle Guitar teacher of the year 2022- Cristóbal is an eclectic guitarist with a classical background. Based in Buenos Aires, he has toured Latin America and Europe playing modern Argentine music and pieces of other living composers like Leo Brouwer, Carlo Domeniconi, Johannes Möller, Mathias Duplessy and many others.

Welcome all! Teaching guitar has been my primary professional focus since 2007, averaging 25-35 students weekly, sometimes more. That’s more than 100,000 private lessons, with a high percentage of beginners age 6-12, also many teenagers and adults. Why did many of my students stay with me for 3-5 years? I’ll address that shortly – first, let me describe my other musical activities.

Welcome, students! I’m a flamenco and classical guitarist based in Seville, Spain, with seventeen years of teaching experience. I specialize in teaching flamenco compás, technique, and repertoire and in guiding classical guitarists in developing their technique, repertoire, sight-reading and interpretive skills.

As the 2020 Lessonface.com Teacher of the Year, I enjoy teaching students of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds.

I’m a composer, performer, and music educator based in New Haven, CT, blending elements of classical music, rock, pop, and film scoring. With over 3,000 live performances and hundreds of recording credits for clients like VH1, MTV, and Sony Records, I bring a wide range of professional experience to both the stage and the studio.

Over 4000 lessons taught on Lessonface: Ms. Svec attended the Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University on full scholarship to earn both her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in music education where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was chosen to be a Chancellor Scholar at Appalachian State University.
