Hi! I'm Melina! During the last six years, I have been working on musical theatre and contemporary music performances. I have also composed music for stage theater and short movies and developed myself as a song-writer, arranger and performing artist. I have three bachelor degrees in contemporary music, classical music and contemporary music performance.

I believe that music is the greatest tool humans have to foster connection with themselves and humanity. Therefore, my goal is to help you find the best means of musical expression. I have been teaching private lessons to students of all ages and levels for the past ten years. My focus is on a holistic approach to music making.

Marla Volovna was born in New York of Russian parents. She earned her Bachelor of Voice degree from the New England Conservatory, Boston. She also earned a MFA in Opera direction from Indiana University Bloomington. Ms Volovna won a scholarship to study in Salzberg, Austria under the tutelage of Susan Anders at the Mozarteum where she earned an equivalent MM in Voice.
