Hailing from a strong background in western classical music, she embraced soul, R&B, alternative, jazz, Indian folk and other world music styles, creating her own distinctive and eclectic sound: a fusion of Indian and contemporary western elements.

I believe that music is the greatest tool humans have to foster connection with themselves and humanity. Therefore, my goal is to help you find the best means of musical expression. I have been teaching private lessons to students of all ages and levels for the past ten years. My focus is on a holistic approach to music making.

Hi, there! My name is Serena Barringer and I am a classically trained lyric soprano and pianist. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A. degree in Music, concentrating in voice.

For over 33 years as a musician and 29 years as an educator for all grade levels and teachers alike, I have the experience of learning from my previous students and applying more efficient techniques to current and future ones. Much like my students, I work towards learning the most innovative techniques while foreseeing the trends of the future in music and education.

I hold a Distinction in Grade 8 Rock & Pop Vocals from Trinity College London and am a proud graduate of the Cyprus Music School (Class of 2025). Throughout my musical journey, I have had the privilege of learning from professional singers and esteemed professors from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Italy, England, and the USA.
