Hello, my name is Javon Washington. I am from Hopewell, Virginia. I started my music path since 7th grade. My first instrument was euphonium/baritone horn, which I've played from 7th grade to my freshman year in college. My second instrument was trombone where I have played from 10th grade to my 5th and final year in college.

Ben is a composer/arranger, trombonist, bassist, and audio engineer/producer who is experienced in many genres, particularly working in "popular music," such as funk, disco, pop, rock, and indie.

I hold degrees from Eastman and Berklee and have received prestigious honors, such as the Outstanding Trumpet Soloist award (elected by Wynton Marsalis) and the Raymond and Maxine Schirmer Prize in Jazz Performance.

In the fall of 2022, Jamie Reeves begins his inaugural season as Music Director and Conductor of the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra. This appointment follows guest appearances with the MSO in the 2020-2021 season, and a season as Interim Conductor in 2021-2022.

By the time he was in high school, Seth Weesner had decided he wanted to teach music the rest of his life. Initially he feel in love with playing tuba and later composing and arranging. Since becoming a band director in 2015, Seth has taught students from kindergarten through college working with students of all ability levels.

My Background I've been playing with classical ensembles and rock bands since 2001. Even though I started on classical trombone and rock guitar, I have come to expand my repertoire to a variety of instruments and genres. During my time in college I performed with the University choir, orchestra, and band.

I am a professional trombone player and full time band director in Central Florida. I hold degrees in trombone performance and music education from Florida Southern College and the University of South Florida. I have played trombone all over the Tampa area where I play on recordings for independent film scores, perform as a pit musician at the Straz Center, and hold the
