Jessica Kaufman is the owner/founder of Asheville's WAXON Batik & Dye Studio. With a genuine love of teaching (and a Masters in Crafts Education!) she leads classes on ice dyeing, tie-dye, batik, and Shibori virtually and all over the East coast.

Greetings! My name is Chloe and I have been passionately knitting for most of my life. As a dedicated crafter, I have spent the last three years sharing my love for crafts by teaching others.

Emolyn learned to knit at a young age without patterns which led her to also spin and dye yarn and wool. She has developed a line of handknits and yarns, and designs knitwear inspired by the yarn. She manages her business, The Roving Knitter, teaches people of all ages to knit and shows her work at craft shows and exhibits. See more of her work at therovingknitter.

Heather Storta has been passionate about knitting from her first lesson in 2003. As a devoted lifelong learner, the minute she learned about TKGA and the Master Knitter program, she signed up. She became a TKGA-Certified Master Knitter in 2014 and was immediately asked to serve on the MHK Committee.

Tasha grew up in a family of makers and tinkerers and has been drawn to textiles of all kinds since she was very small. She is driven by the belief that making things by hand empowers people to live more joyfully and thoughtfully. In her classes, she works to build deep understanding through hands-on experimentation in a warm and inspiring environment.

Amy Shelton is a fiber artist, instructor, and crochet designer. For the last eight years, she has owned SPARKLE Studio, a working and teaching fiber arts studio and local yarn shop located at the historic Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment in Huntsville, AL. She is an expert crocheter who has been crocheting since the age of 9.

I have been working as a knitting and crochet teaching artist since 2009. I am a Craft Yarn Council Level 1 and 2 Certified Knitting and Crochet instructor, and I have experience working with beginner through advanced level knitting and crochet students. I have worked with students as young as 11 years old online and in an after-school setting.

Laura is a life-long knitter and former engineer and math teacher. She enjoys combining all the best of her experience in her favorite career, knitting design and education. Her designs feature innovative construction with clear instruction.

Alasdair Post-Quinn, author of “Extreme Double-knitting,” “Double or Nothing,” and a handful of standalone patterns, has been working to push the boundaries of double-knitting since 2003. He lives in Cambridge, MA; aside from his self-published books and patterns, he frequently teaches live and virtual workshops for all levels of double-knitting experience.

I have been involved with music for thirty- six years. When I was sixteen, I started singing in the church choir and I fell in love with singing. I worked a part time job to pay for music lessons. This led me to pursue an associates in arts degree for liberal Arts Emphasis in Creative and Applied Arts. I soon grew interested in making and producing my own music.
