Hello and welcome I am a concert pianist, jazz guitarist, and composer with more than 10 years of professional experience. I have a diploma from the Komitas State Conservatory and hold a bachelor's degree in music (composition) from EMU International University. Helia Azar, was awarded outstanding talent prize in Fadjr International Festival three times in Tehran, Iran. She had the opportunity to work with so many great musicians in the United States, Canada, and Iran and also as a teacher at different universities and music institutes such as the University of Minnesota, Boise State University, and the University of Tehran.

I am a professional cellist and dedicated educator with over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Earning my Doctorate in Cello Performance has greatly deepened my understanding of both cello pedagogy and performance. I currently serve as the Teaching Artist at Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s OrchKids program.
