Evan McPherson is a Central Texas-based guitarist, educator, and producer with over 20 years of experience helping students of all ages grow as musicians. He holds a Jazz Guitar Performance degree from Cornish College of the Arts and brings a deep understanding of theory, technique, and improvisation to every lesson.

After 23 years of experience as a musician, being 14 of them as a teacher, I've been able to attend students from all ages and levels, helping them to reach their goals with the guitar: from teaching them their first song ever, so they can play only for themselves in their rooms, to helping them playing live with a band or even becoming professionals.

I have 10 years of experience teaching privately and have been taking private music instruction for most of my life. I graduated from Michigan State University in 2015 with a bachelors degree in Jazz Studies. I studied under the great Rodney Whitaker of Jazz Lincoln Center fame and Randy Napoleon who is most known for his work with Freddy Cole.

I’m a British multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and experienced music teacher. I play electric and acoustic guitar, saxophone, bass, and piano/keyboard, and teach a wide range of students both in schools and private one-to-one and group lessons—online and in person.

It is my firm belief that the teacher should be an example to those whom he teaches. I strive to live by example in speech, conduct, values, and virtues. My life is committed to serving and helping others. It is my hope that an insatiable love of life and learning is passed down to my students.

In 2016, I received my Masters of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA.

Steve Ettling is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and record producer. He currently is a music director at his local church and holds a degree from one of the best contemporary music schools. At GIT he had an opportunity to study and play with some of the best musicians in the world.
