I received my Bachelors degree in Audio Recording/Engineering with a minor in Jazz Performance and a Masters degree in Composition/Arranging. I am based on the Malteese island of Gozo but I originate from South East London in the UK where I went to Sedgehill Comprehensive School the same school as the rock band ' Status Quo' who were older than me but went to the guitar club there. Sedgehill School has now been converted into a music academy due to the success of its music students.

I am a guitarist based in Milan who graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Roosevelt University in Classical Guitar Performance in 2018 where I have studied with Denis Azabagic. In 2018, I started off my career with two classical recitals in Ganz Hall in Chicago. That same year, I performed at a fashion pop-up event for the brand "Landmee" in Bangkok, Thailand.

My goal is to inspire creativity, and a love for playing. I began playing the guitar at age 13. Classic rock bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and the Beatles, as well as blues guitarists Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton, are my early musical influences. My love for music really bloomed when I started writing songs, and performing in bands in High School and College.

I’m Amir, a dedicated guitar instructor with 24 years of teaching experience, including positions at prestigious institutions in Los Angeles, California, and British schools in Dubai. I hold an LTCL Diploma in Classical Guitar from Trinity College London and have been recognized for my expertise in flamenco, classical, and modern guitar techniques.
