Jovana Stankovic Popovic (born in 1987 in Belgrade, Serbia) gained primary music education in “Dr Vojislav Vuckovic” music school working with professor Mirjana Savic and then finished it along with secondary education, working with professor Ivana Popovic.

Mackenzie Smileva is a flutist and teacher based in the Dallas, TX area. She currently teaches private lessons and masterclasses in Mesquite and Garland, TX, and maintains an online studio. Mackenzie is also one of the flutists with the Fenglire chamber music group in the DFW area.

Sheila Joy DuMont is a native Pennsylvanian, currently living in Virginia while studying at Shenandoah Conservatory with renowned international flutist, Jonathan Snowden, former principal flute of the London Philharmonic.

Hello! My name is Christine Murphy. I am a passionate flutist and educator based in Baltimore, Maryland. Since 2019, I have performed with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra as Assistant Principal Flute. In addition to orchestral performance, I perform frequently in chamber and solo settings both locally and nationally.

Mellisa graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and Liturgical Music, with a minor in Flute Performance and Bible in 2007 from Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, CA. She received her Master of Arts in Music Education with a concentration in Piano Pedagogy in 2013 from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.

I have been playing the flute for about 11 years and am currently a Junior studying Flute Performance at BYU. I have competed in multiple competitions most recently, I was awarded Co-Principal chair in the Philharmonic Orchestra at BYU. I also recently won first place at the Dixie State Woodwind Competition, collegiate level earlier this year.

Born in Indianapolis, Jennifer Gallegos began playing flute in church with a group of lively musicians. She learned new music playing by ear and harmonizing and improvising over melodies.

I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Houghton University (2022) and a Master of Music in Music Education from SUNY Potsdam (2023). My training includes flute studies with Angela McBrearty and Brian Dunbar, and I’ve had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with world-renowned flutists Amy Porter and Marianne Gedigian.

I’m Daryna, a professional flutist and experienced teacher with a background in solo, ensemble and orchestra performance across Europe. My goal is to help students of all levels find joy and confidence in their playing.
