My aim as a teacher is to teach my students the technical and musical fundamentals of violin and viola. I have been playing violin for over 14 years and teaching for 7 years. I have a degree in violin performance and have had lots of experience in both private teaching and teaching in a public school system.

I am a classically trained violinist. I have studied the violin for 19 years and received my Bachelor of Music Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. I offer beginner to intermediate lessons for both violin and viola.

Greetings! My name is Ellen Kidwell. I have about 11 years of teaching both private lessons and currently hold a position as an Orchestra Director in Dallas Texas. I perform regularly on both violin and viola. I have won the Texas Music Educator's Association Collegiate Educator Award, and most recently the Texas Orchestra Directors Association Young Educator of the year.

I am an upper strings educator with 30 years of playing experience and 22 years of teaching in a variety of education settings. I earned my Bachelors in Viola Performance at the University of Houston in 2007 and my Masters in Education from Lamar University in 2011.

Hi! I’m Jes Sheets, a viola player and music therapy major at the University of Iowa. I’ve been playing for over eight years and currently study viola at the collegiate level. I’m passionate about making music fun, accessible, and confidence-building for students of all ages.

Amanda Steinemann (BMus in Composition, UVic) loves sharing her knowledge of music with students of all ages and skill levels. She has been teaching violin, viola, and piano lessons through local music schools and privately both in person and online, and enjoys incorporating composition and music theory elements into the lessons.
