He was awarded second prize in the prestigious Leonard Falcone Artist Tuba competition in 2015, 2016, and 2018.

Melissa Salguero has been teaching music since 2009. According to her students, her love and passion for music are contagious and help keep them motivated. Her accomplishments include building a music program from the ground up and overcome the challenges faced when those instruments were stolen.
