⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Extremely interesting and very helpful Ableton lesson I had a great Ableton Live lesson with Harry Wood and I honestly learned a lot in a short amount of time. The lesson was extremely interesting, easy to follow, and Harry explained everything clearly step-by-step. During the session I learned: • How to open Ableton Preferences / Settings using Command + , • How to create a new MIDI track and Audio track using the Create menu • How to switch between Session View and Arrangement View using the Tab key • The difference between Session View (looping/experimenting) and Arrangement View (building a full track timeline) • How to open the MIDI clip editor to add notes • How to open and use Serum 2 inside Ableton • How to change presets/sounds using the preset browser Harry was patient, friendly, and made the whole process feel simple, even when I got stuck. I’m really happy with what I learned and I’m excited to keep practicing and improving. Highly recommended if you’re learning Ableton and want proper guidance.

What is the best method for learning Ableton Live ?
We're biased, of course, but at Lessonface we believe the best way to learn Ableton Live is through one-on-one lessons. Personalized instruction means your teacher can tailor every lesson to your goals, learning style, and skill level. Online group classes can also be a great way to make learning fun and social. Learning Ableton Live online makes it easy to stay consistent, which is essential to steady progress.
There are plenty of apps and YouTube videos out there to help with learning Ableton Live, but most teachers agree that those resources work best as supplements to, not replacements for, one-on-one instruction. A skilled Ableton Live teacher can identify bad habits before they become ingrained, help you focus on what matters most, and solve problems as soon as they arise, often saving you months of frustration and wasted practice time. The bottom line? A real teacher accelerates your progress and keeps you on the right path from day one.
