Hi, and welcome to my teaching profile :) Main subjects and instruments include electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, cajon, drumkit, music theory, improvisation, percussion, aural skills (ear training), eurythmics (internalizing rhythm), sight-reading, classical guitar and flamenco guitar. Born and raised in Humacao, Puerto Rico, Dr. Rosa has been performing on percussion instruments since he was five years old. He holds a Bachelor's in Music from the University of Central Florida, a Masters Degree in Music Technology (Studio Production and Game Audio Music) from Southern Utah University and a Doctoral Degree from the University of Miami.

I have been involved with Drums and Music since 1995. A lifelong student myself, I am deeply passionate about learning, exploring and sharing the amazing world of Percussion with my students and peers.

I'm a professional drummer, percussionist, educator, composer, and multimedia artist. I most recently was the drummer for Blue Man Group in Shanghai. I also was a principal performer in the cast of the NYC Broadway show STOMP.

Playing and teaching music is my life and passion! I have been playing music since the 1980's. While I received my Bachelor of Music Degree in Classical percussion, my tastes in music are extremely wide ranging. Everything from Classical to Music theatre, Latin/Brazilian, Canto-pop, R+B, Funk, Industrial, Armenian and Persian Folk music.
