With a deep-rooted passion for Celtic, Manx, Irish, and Scottish folk music, I’ve spent years blending traditional sounds with modern elements to create something unique.

Adam Sweet is a seasoned music professional with a BA in Musicology and certificates in violin, performance, and chamber music coaching from prestigious institutions such as the New England Conservatory of Music and the Center for Chamber Music at Apple Hill.

I’m Séamus Óg, an Irish musician from Carrickfergus, specializing in guitar and bouzouki and a unique instrument I play called the Cittern. Shaped by the rich traditions of Irish music, storytelling, and island life, my musical journey is inspired by the sounds and stories of my homeland, yet I’m always eager to explore new musical landscapes.

I have 20+ years with over 20,000 hours of musical instrument teaching experience and a total of 30 years of guitar playing experience with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the Chicago Music College of Roosevelt University. I teach acoustic guitar (6 & 12 string), electric guitar, classical guitar, jazz guitar, ukulele, bass (5 string), and tenor banjo (Irish tuning).

I'm one of only four fiddle players worldwide who play purely in the East Galway Irish Music Tradition (EGIMT) — a listening tradition characterised by long, flowing bow strokes, lyrical phrasing, and a preference for the lower, sweeter tones of the fiddle. Less ornamentation, more soul.
