I love encouraging creativity and appreciation for art. Teaching is rewarding, especially seeing the growth of my students' skills & imaginations, and after giving private and small group art lessons for over 18 years, I enjoy it even more than when I first began!

My focus on designing weaves with the tools of our time—computers—started in the 1980s. Author of 4 books; presenter of courses both in person, online, and virtually (Zoom); but always at heart a weaver and designer.

I am a long time educator with more than 40 years of teaching experience including 21 years teaching glass beadmaking. The process of creating glass beads is magical and even after all these years, it is so satisfying to witness a student's "got it" moment.

Penny Morgan (Prichard) has been involved with teaching cooking to adults since 2000. An accomplished fiber artist, Penny loves to share tips and inspiration with quilters, embroiderers and wool applique fans of all skill levels. Penny has been teaching online courses since 2002. As an instructor for East Carolina University she has taught food labs online to many students.

I've graduated Magnitogorsk State University (Russia) with bachelor degree in Economics and Master degree in Financial Management in 2007 and worked at this university for 10 years as a senior teacher. After moving to the USA in 2016, I've studied English at College of the Desert (USA) and worked as a certified ESL tutor there for 1 year.

Residing in Salt Lake City, Utah, Emily is an experienced educator in leading university courses for Utah State, Weber State and Brigham Young University as well as outreach education and children's programming for the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art.

A crafter since childhood, Jennifer Costa discovered needle felting in 2020. She was hooked after the first few stabs! She enjoys landscape and three-dimensional felting. She sells her artwork through her website and at a gallery in the NC mountains, but is especially passionate about teaching others how much fun felting can be!

Dana has been a Folk School instructor since 2004. Her most recent collection of poems is One Light, Texas Review Press. Her environmental memoir, "Back to Abnormal: Surviving with an Old Farm in the New South," was finalist for Georgia Author of the Year.
